Take Your Future Innovator to Work Day is an event that allows staff members to share with their children and grandchildren what it is like to work at JHU Applied Physics Laboratory — and learn about a few of the Lab’s defining innovations. Staff members may also take their children to their work spaces, provide a tour of their offices/labs, and share what a typical workday is like.
I spearheaded the visual identity and overall look and feel of the event, creating a playful logotype built from geometric shapes inspired by hands-on STEM exploration. The visual direction was designed to feel energetic, approachable, and engaging—sparking curiosity and creating an inviting experience for children of all ages. In addition, I designed posters, digital displays, and wayfinding signage to help guests easily navigate the event and discover the different labs, activities, and learning experiences throughout the Lab.
